Hi, I'm Alex. I am an artist, a photographer: and a teacher of both for many years.
Always finding myself drawn to nature, to the colours, the patterns and textures, along with how the light affects the landscape, I have redirected my skills. Finding the world we live in, completely incredible but so constant with changes, progression, the next protocol or procedure or strategy, it leaves us in a heightened state of stress. Our development and our heritage shows us where we came from and all our connections to our natural environment... and it is this I am looking to help bring people back to.

"I'm not sure what happened to it, when I joined Alex for a forest bathing session, but time just seemed to leave me. Perhaps it lingered behind at the wooden gate to Shrawley Woods, where, as Alex had suggested, I left all my other daily brain mumblings and bigger clangings that had dutifully accompanied me to my parking spot that morning.
It took only a warm welcome, a few carefully chosen invitations from Alex, and perhaps 50 or so accompanied steps along the path, and away from the, now rather populated, gate for me to begin my immersion into the woodland. Though cathedral like and awe inspiring, I felt immediately at ease and at home under its canopy.
Alex led us to thoughtfully chosen gems of places in the wood, and as we meandered, she invited us to explore with all our senses; we tasted wood sorrel, smelled pine, explored fractalled ferns with our eyes and fingers and those keen to, felt the cool of the grass and path with their bare toes. All of which brought us into the experience and closer to ourselves. I could have spent hours more there, in that way.
The restful ease of the hour and a half was still felt throughout the day, and drew me later to a cherished and rare nap in the afternoon - on this occasion without guilt or thinking of the many things I 'ought' to be doing instead; bliss.
The experience was gentle and powerful at the same time - truly a bathe in my real experiences as they were happening and, as Alex's had said, there was no need for special equipment or clothing or past experience. Just a willingness to be led and to trust in her gentle offerings.
I really look forward to bringing friends with me next time. Genuinely, it's such a gift to offer someone you love. I hope the gentle message you purvey will reach more and more people."

"Working with Alex both 1:1 & in a group setting is utterly divine. She brings such depth, grace and beauty to the sessions and enables you to be supported to see beyond your everyday viewing. Gorgeous."

"Yesterday, we attended the forest bathing workshop in Shrawley Woods. The experience was incredibly informative, allowing us to deepen our connection with nature. Alex, our guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic, significantly enahancing our experience. We can't wait to bring the rest of our members to enjoy this unique opportunity in nature."
